Started his career with Tranmere and went on to make over 70 first-team appearances, before a loan spell at Altrincham during the 1996/97 season and a switch to then Conference outfit Doncaster Rovers in July 2002. Transferred to Morecambe in December 2002 and then joined Porthmadog in the summer of 2003. Went to NEWI Cefn Druids as player/manager in February 2004, resigning during 2004/5 and being signed by Rhyl. Moved to Connah's Quay in September 2005 and was appointed assistant manager in July 2006, moving as assistant to Nev Powell at Bangor in summer 2007.
