Colin Caton

An uncompromising centre half and long serving player and player-manager with Colwyn Bay who also appeared for his hometown club Ruthin and briefly in the Welsh Premier for Cefn Druids.

After the Bay were relegated, he took over the reins at Bala Town in 2003 when the club was struggling in the lower reaches of the Welsh National League and gained promotion to the Cymru Alliance at the first attempt in 2004.

After successive runners-up finishes in 2007 and 2008, clinched the title and promotion to the top flight in 2009, guiding the club into Europe in 2012 and to a highest-ever finish of second in 2015.

Caton is the longest-serving club manager in the Welsh Premier and has more than 600 games in charge of the Lakesiders.
