GOALKEEPER Shaun Pearson has followed in his brother's footsteps by signing for Airbus UK Broughton.

The 26-year-old Llandudno-born stopper started his playing career with Llangefni Town before joining Barrow, where older brother Mike was playing, in the summer of 2010.

He made 29 appearances for the Bluebirds in his final season before being released by mutual consent to spend a season in Australia.

He has recently been playing for Colwyn Bay, a club where he has had two previous spells, making 16 appearances this season, and will provide competition for Ryan Neild at Airbus, who has been ever-present since joining the club in the summer.

Mike Pearson made 83 WPL appearances for the Wingmakers before moving to Gap Connah's Quay in the close season.
