RHYL have signed Curtis Langton. a left-footed central defender who has been on the books of Everton since the age of 12.

A member of the Toffee's Under-18 title winning team, 20-year-old Langton featured for the club's Under-21s last season having  put pen-to-paper on his first professional contract in the summer of 2014, but was released this summer.

"I'm delighted that Curtis Langton has joined us from Everton," says Lilywhites' boss Gareth Owen.

"Curtis was as keen to sign as we were to have him, so it was an easy decision for both parties really.

"It's great to attract players like Curtis to the club, he is the first of a number of targets to arrive prior to what I'm sure will be a busy transfer window for us."
