BANGOR City reclaimed second spot in the Welsh Premier but threw-away a three goal lead to draw 3-3 with Prestatyn Town at a wind and rain-swept Nantporth.

After establishing a comfortable three-goal cushion with less than 20 minutes remaining, the hosts let it slip when Jason Price scored a brace and Mike Parker snatched the equaliser in the last minute of stoppage time.

Despite being shorn of three key defenders by suspensions, the Citizens established an early two-goal cushion.

After former City defender Paul O'Neill had picked-up the first yellow of the night, Prestatyn's stand-in keeper Lee Kendall fell over as a Sion Edwards free-kick flew over his head.

Five minutes later, a deep cross from Chris Roberts was headed back across goal by Chris Simm for Les Davies to apply the finish at the far post.

Simm got free and tried to chip Kendall but his effort went high and wide, while a Sion Edwards 30-yarder deflected just wide of the target.

The visitors began to get into the game midway through the second half and a curling shot from Andy Parkinson was well-saved low down by Lee Idzi.

But City got a third goal on 71 minutes when defender Peter Hoy forced the ball home in a goalmouth scramble after Seasiders' player-manager Neil Gibson had cleared off the line.

Idzi made another fine save to deny Parker at close range but was unable to save when Jason Price got the final touch in a crowded box to reduce the arrears.

Parkinson went close to grabbing another for Town five minutes from time before Price notched his tenth goal of the season to set-up a nervous three minutes of stoppage time for City.

And, in the final minute, Parker snatched the equaliser when Idzi could only parry Parkinson's shot.
