Dave RidlerFORMER Caernarfon Town defender Dave Ridler is the new manager of Evo-Stik League First Division North club Prescot Cables.
The centre-back started his career at The Racecourse and made 104 league appearances for Wrexham before a move to Macclesfield in July 2001.
Ridler made 53 starts for the Silkmen and, after a brief spell at Scarborough, made a further 45 appearances for the Shrews, leaving in April 2005 to join Leigh RMI.
He arrived at The Oval in September 2008 from Winsford United and appeared 23 times for the Canaries in their final season in the Welsh Premier in 2008/9.
Ridler holds the UEFA 'B' licence qualification and is currently a member of Liverpool's Academy coaching team, having just returned from a tour of Malaysia.
